On the quietest day of Holy Week, a band of legends transforms Fasching into a sanctuary devoted to the eternal groove.
Drummer Martin Jonsson – founder and eternal bandleader of Blacknuss, the beat behind Kullrusk, and the swing in Eric Gadd’s orchestra – now launches his latest project: Scary Jonsson, alongside guitarists Max Schultz and Björn Wahlberg.
With unrestrained inspiration from The Meters, Jack McDuff, Jimmy McGriff, Eddie Harris, Headhunters, JB’s, and Larry Goldings’ Scary Goldings, expect full-on Funky Hammond, Acid Jazz & Rare Grooves – and everything else Easter calls for.
