Lars Demian, Tallroth & Meyerson

The poet Lars Demian once again brightens up an evening at Fasching. In addition to his constant weapon bearer, the multi-instrumentalist David Tallroth who treats bass tuba, drums, percussion, guitar, banjo (sometimes simultaneously), he also brings new member Love Meyerson, who plays drums, marimba, accordion etc. Demian’s music is characterized by pithy, absurdist songs about life and society. He has been compared several times to the American singer-songwriter Tom Waits. Demian is a Swedish artist with elements of both klezmer, folk rock, blues and experimental rock. Lars Demian sings, plays piano, guitar, banjo and made his record debut with the album Pank in 1990. The album contains one of his most famous songs – “Alkohol”. Lars Demian is a multiple Grammy winner and has also been awarded the Fred Åkerström scholarship. During his solo career, he has released around 10 albums.
