Ladies Got the Blues are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a maxed out big band show at Fasching!
Ladies Got the Blues, consisting of Sweden’s collective female blues elite, performs in various constellations and is a tribute to the female musicians who strongly contributed to the development of the genre throughout history. This initiativ celebrates its 10th anniversary and returns to Fasching for a long-awaited and really cool evening with a big house band, brass section and a whole bunch of guest artists.
This evening the Ladies will take you on a dynamic journey from fragile and fine-tuned, to the swingiest roots groove, spontaneous improvisations and a hands-on-the-ceiling crescendo – all in the tones of the blues! Both real blues classics and some more unusual songs are on the menu. Ladies Got the Blues was founded by Ida Bang, Moa Brandt, Elin Öberg and Lisa Lystam. This special evening will be enhanced by most of the original line-up performing some special numbers.
