Celebrating over 30 years as a musician, composer, and arranger, the multi-award-winning Klas Lindquist marks his 50th birthday with a special concert at Fasching on May 6.
Joining him on stage will be an exciting lineup of musicians he has collaborated with over the years. The foundation of the evening will be the quartet featured on Klas’s latest album, “Handle With Care”—an internationally acclaimed success. But that’s not all – Klas’s nine-piece ensemble will also perform, along with special guests: the American jazz star, vocalist, and pianist Champian Fulton, and Klas’s longtime friend, the exceptional trombonist and pianist Ulf Johansson Werre.
In collaboration with Champian, the evening will premiere a new repertoire that will later be showcased at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in New York, featuring some of the city’s top jazz musicians.
