Melker Falk

Melker Falk is a pianist and composer from Örebro who now studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. His newly formed quartet performs his own compositions, rooted in the Scandinavian jazz tradition, but also drawing inspiration from other genres. With a focus on melody and a collective approach, the musicians take equal responsibility in shaping the music, that varies between introspective and expressive.

Sofia Borgström

Through her soulful singing, the Stockholm-based singer and composer Sofia Borgström performs her music with a strong emotional expression. Her lyrics reflect life as a young adult as she writes about dreams, relationships and doubts. With captivating arrangements and playful improvisation, Sofia and her band captures the attention of the audience. Modern jazz meets the Swedish melancholy with a touch of soul.
