Bengt Ernryd is a Swedish composer and jazz musician with over 60 years in the industry. He has written music for film, theater and TV series as well as composed and arranged for orchestra, in jazz, chamber music etc. Bengt Ernryd is known to the entire Swedish people as the man behind the music for the TV program Fem Myror är fler än Fyra Elefanter. The evening’s sextet led by Bengt Ernryd is now on its sixth year and mainly plays music by Ernryd himself and Ulf Ållebrand. Other composers include Horace Silver, Benny Golson, Charlie Mingus and Johann Pachelbel, but Ernryd’s music from Fem myror also appears during the evening.
