Join us on a journey back to the 80s as we pay tribute to one of the greatest bands from the American West Coast: Huey Lewis and the News. The group became world-famous for songs like The Power of Love, Hip to Be Square, and If This Is It, and they had nineteen top-ten hits on the Billboard chart during their active career. Their big breakthrough came with the film Back to the Future, which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Huey Lewis and the News are in the spotlight once again. In the spring of 2023, the musical The Heart of Rock and Roll, based on the band’s unforgettable song catalog, premiered on Broadway. Frontman Huey Lewis was recently recognized for his appearance in the film The Greatest Night in Pop, which depicts the legendary and star-studded recording of We Are the World. And now, some of Stockholm’s most prominent musicians are gathering to give them the tribute they so well deserve. Don’t miss it!
