This is Sky High’s farewell to the Stockholm audience and the band’s last gig at all!
Clas Yngström’s love story with Fasching stretches from the mid-70s with various bands. Since the early nineties, Sky High has performed at least one concert per year at Fasching, which the band considers to be Sweden’s very best music club.
During this very last evening, Sky High will play songs from its 46-year history book from the early years with a repertoire of Jimi Hendrix music, to the present with own compositions. Sky High have released quite a stack of albums and are currently working on their 18th.
Clas Yngström has received the Dalarna County Council’s Culture Prize, Falun Municipality’s ditto, and was awarded the Blues Prize at Åmål’s Bluesfest, Mönsterås Blues Festival and Tidaholm’s ditto. Clas was selected as “Legendary Blues Artist” in the American Blues Hall Of Fame in March 2014.
Sky High has played over 4,000 gigs, from San Francisco in the West to Tokyo in the East, Svalbard in the North and Maputo in the South.
