revisits Scandinavia with an outstanding line-up, including Danish Jazz Award
winning sax player, Jens Søndergaard.
The two saxplayers warm and telephatic interplay comes across as a
totally unique jazz experience, and this will be a great opportunity to
experience Benny Golson performing his famous songs in an absolutely amazing
band constallation!!
Golson and Søndergaard will be accompanied by a danish trio, counting
three of the most outstanding and most coveted musicians:
Pianist Nikolaj Hess, is constantly working and touring with many
prestigious artists, including Danish jazz diva Caroline Henderson, as well as
being involved in many other top international projects.
Bassplayer Morten Ramboel, has for years now, been the favorite
European bassplayer among the top jazz drummers in the world today. He has worked with artists such as Joey
Baron, Jeff Ballad, Dennis Mackrell, Jason Marsallis, Jeff ”Tain” Watts and Antonio Sanchez, (all with
whom Morten has toured and/or recorded).
Drummer & producer Kristian Leth rounds up this lineup of top
artists. Kristian has been busy touring with Scott Hamilton and has recently
produced the award winning CD/DVD ”Live at Nefertiti”. He tours all over Europe with various
international artists, including
Ulf Wakenius, Eric Alexander, Dave O’Higgins and vocalist - supreme Claire Martin.
